「關於我們翻滾的秘密基地」Joeri Verbesselt

I joined a gymnastics class designed for a group of beginners, yet I was surprised about how much I – individually – learned. During the group exercises, the teacher continuously adapted the tempo and level of skill according to individual requirements. When a student struggled with the execution of an exercise, the teacher would come up with tips and tricks in order to reach the level of execution the student could handle. And when the teacher felt that a student could go further and reach a higher level, he would create bigger challenges for them. The teacher's feedback was always positive and stimulating, which gives you a comfortable feeling when you touch or cross your physical boundaries. As a beginning beginner myself, I found that very necessary.

The gymnastics class was quite long (more than three hours), which I liked because I felt I got some serious and diverse training. The first half of the class consisted of a static full body workout which is easy for everyone to follow. The second half delved into more dynamic gymnastics: rolls, handstands, jumps,... After the class, I felt I did a good muscles work-out, learned some nice tricks to defy gravity and (almost) fly, and had great fun with my colleague students. Highly recommended! I wish I could fly.
